5G about to come in india “more profound impact"

Amon emphasized that 5G is going to have a “more profound impact on the industry.” When that happens, he “would like India to be a 5G market as fast as we saw with 4G”.
He further confirmed that Qualcomm is working with several tech companies and device makers across the world including India to see through the deployment of the next-gen 5G tech.
Qualcomm has been actively working for the past couple of years to promote 5G to the ecosystem including India.
Even though he didn’t give an expected timeline for 5G to arrive in India, Amon said the technology should become widely available by 2020.
On the other hand, the Indian government hasn’t announced a specific timeline either. Meanwhile, the tech industry wants spectrum auction to be held in the country by Q4 2019, after which we can expect 5G services to be rolled out.
For the rest of the world, 5G will become a commercial reality in early 2019, with several 5G-supported mobile device launches and network rollouts across countries like the U.S., Europe, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and CHINA.
